Pond FOOD WEB BY: Jermaine Ezell, Meyiya Coleman, Tyshawn Gantt, & Brandon Wade

Producers Our producers are phytoplankton and aquatic plants for example the water lily. This where all of the energy in our food web starts.

Primary Consumer The primary consumers are zooplankton, the bullhead catfish, and the snail. These are the organism that eat the producers. These organisms only get 10 % of the producers energy

Secondary consumers Our secondary consumers are mallard, leeches, mosquito larvae, crayfish, bluegill, and the largemouth bass. These organisms eat the primary consumers and only get 10 % of their energy.

Tertiary consumers Our tertiary consumers our top predators are the great blue heron and the snapping turtle. These are the organisms that get the least amount of energy.
