Phases Phase 1: –Completely rebuild the six existing courts from the ground up and re-design water drainage between baseball field and parking lot. –FULLY FUNDED –COMPLETED July 2015 Phase 2: –Four additional courts, –Pavilion –Lights

Why 10 Courts? Opportunity for both varsity and JV to play select home matches at the same time Community play and programming can occur during selected matches Hudson would be able to apply for post- season tournaments and USTA tournaments –These will drive economic activity in Hudson
Why Pavilion? Protection from weather Hot summer days can be dangerous. Shade is at a premium and helpful for both players and spectators Great gathering spot for the community during tennis activities Great gathering spot during other Hudson sports activities
Why Lights? Hudson is one of the very few area communities without lighted public courts Lights will significantly extend the playable time on the courts – especially for families Many Spring, Fall, and even some winter evenings offer great play opportunities if lights are available Late summer evenings, when it cools down, are great times to play

“Hudson Community Tennis Courts” is a project of Hudson City Schools with support from the Hudson City schools Foundation. The Hudson City Schools Foundation is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization and all donations are tax-deductible. Donations can be made directly to Hudson City Schools with designation: “Tennis Court Project”.
