Plates and dishes Dishes Plates Set up: Split the group into two teams. Spread aloud of cones out either facing up or down. How to play: One team of participants must turn the cones facing up so they are facing down. Whilst the other team must turn the cones facing down to up. The winner is the team with the most cones facing there way when the time limit is up.

Wide range of dribbling and controlling a ball Set up: Split the group into 4 or 5 smaller groups. Set up 4-5 cones in a line with a reasonable amount of room to dribble in and out off. How to Play: To start of with the group will get a uni-hoc stick and a ball and will dribble in and out of the cones and join the back of their line. You will then advance this to dribbling a basket ball and a football in and out of the cones. Once his is done for the more advanced participant can they bounce the ball in and out of the cones with a Tennis racket.

Find the bean Bag Find the bean Bag: Set up: Place a lot of cones around the hall and put bean bags under some cones and divide the group into two teams. How to Play: One at a time a player from each team must go and find one bean bag they must ONLY lift up one cone and then go back to their own team.

Throw Catch and Move Throw Catch Move: Set Up: Divide the group into two teams and provide each team with 1-2 balls. How to Play: Once teams have been divided into their group the coach will tell them to start with is to pass and move within the square. After a while the coach will say make a pass and mix it between the other group whilst they are doing it. Then remove all the ball except one then the teams must successfully make 5 passes to a team mate to get a point the opposing team must then try and steal the ball in the air BUT NOT snatch from there hands. Then finally advance the game so they have to successfully throw the ball into two hoops either end of the area to get a point.

The Hobbit Set Up: Put a line of benches along half the hall. And place on bench 3 meters away on its side. The coach choses one person to be on who has to turn his/her back on the group. The others then have to try and steel an object very quietly but quick as the Dragon “smaug” is counting down from 50 seconds. How to play: The others then have to try and steel an object very quietly but quick as the Dragon “smaug” is counting down from 50 seconds. Once the Hobbit has reached their side they must hide the object behind the bench on its side. (The bigger the object the more points) The dragon will then turn around, and he guess who stole his treasure that person is out. But if he get it wrong it’s a point to the Hobbits. (But if smaug Guesses the treasure which is taken but not the person he get the treasure back but the hobbit is not out.) Progression: The children have to run in and out of cones before getting back to their side. The Dragons is blind folded but is allowed to walk around his/her half of the hall if they touch the hobbit the hobbit is out. Add one of the Objects to be a Bell ball. Add more than one dragon and they have to work as a team. Shorten the Dragons counting time.

Objects = Points (The Hobbit) 1 Point 2 Points 3 Points 4 Points 5 Points 10 Points 50 Points
