NERC ORIENTATION NERC Structure Compliance and Certification Committee (CCC) Monitors NERC’s compliance to standards that apply to NERC Monitors NERC’s adherence to the Rules of Procedure Recommends revisions to the Rules of Procedure Serves as the mediator for any disagreements between NERC and the Regional Entities concerning NERC performance audits of Regional Entities’ compliance programs
NERC ORIENTATION NERC Structure Critical Infrastructure Protection Committee (CIPC) The mission of the Critical Infrastructure Protection Committee (CIPC) is to advance the physical and cyber security of the critical electricity infrastructure of North America Liaise with governments on critical infrastructure protection matters Assist in the development and implementation of NERC standards
NERC ORIENTATION NERC Structure Operating Committee (OC) Provides the ERO (stakeholders, Board of Trustees, and staff) with the collective and diverse opinions from the experts in interconnected systems operation to help the industry arrive at informed decisions Provide technical opinions and interpretation of standards
