About Mrs. Elisa Hwang-Mendez This is my 7th year teaching (6 years in 4th grade, a year in 3rd grade). Received Elementary Teaching Credential from California State University, Northridge in June 2007 (LAUSD) Graduated from UCDavis in June 2005 with a Bachelors’ Degree in Sociology and Chicano/a Studies

How Can You Participate? Check your child’s homework/tests everyday Ask your child to tell you about his/her school day and what he/she learned Make sure your child is reading at home everyday (40+ min.) Donate art and party supplies, school supplies, and books for our classroom library. Volunteer to help during our special events. Chaperone our class fieldtrips.
