Anatomy of a Text Texts categorized into hierarchies: Drag and drop, click to view Text tab: add and edit details View tab: recomposed view Information: properties and details Dict. Ref: produce summary of contents Import: add text transcription Pending content: type or copy text to OCHRE Properties: add variables and values Links: add periods and resources Notes: a place for prose notes Events: track workflow Add people as creators and editors of the text. Add bibliographic references and copyrights.

Anatomy of a Text View Description pane: Details from the Info tab and more… Transliteration pane: Epigraphic units and notes, click to open and edit Discourse pane: Interpretation of the text, typically normalization of cuneiform text Translations show here when entered. Linked items pane: Resources and other links appear here.

Wizards: Lexical, parsing, prosopography, gazetteer tools Epigraphic units: Click to open and edit

Export: Save text view to a file. Lookup Mode: Click on words in discourse view to view glossary entry. Display format: Change the way the text view is organized. Display options: Choose what to show on the view (text color, links, etc.) Pane toggle: Choose which panes to display. Only visible panes will be exported.
