Tropical Rainforest By Kendall Boyer, Wesley Sigl, and Dirty Dan.

The basics: Location: Lower and central America, Africa, and Southeast Asia It is located between the tropic of Capricorn and the tropic of Cancer Borders the savannah and temperate forest biomes. The rainforest is home to over 50 percent of the worlds animals.

Plants: Have large leaves for maximum sunlight absorption Shed water so branches do not break: Oily coating Drip tips Grooved leaves Some plants’ leaves turn with the movement of the sun

Plants Lianas Vine It starts off as a small shrub that grows on the forest floor, and as it grows, it attaches itself to smaller saplings and strangles it as it ages.
