How does SYKE work? SYKE has two main principles: Closeness: SYKE finds the interested enterprises and visits them Locality: the SYKE consultants are working within the subregions in a close co-operation with the business developing authorities.

Pirkanmaa (the Tampere Region) is a region of inhabitants. It is situated about 150 km north of Helsinki. Unemployment rate in sub- regions is between 7% and 12% SYKE service points Helsinki

SYKE Marketing Target group: In Tampere sub-region there are about enterprises, in other sub-regions altogether about SYKE has chosen to market to micro and small enterprises (that cuts the total amount appr. 10%) First contacts: Via entrepreneur associations, interest groups Use of telemarketing (finding those who might employ and/or those who are interested in employment subsidies)
