About the job As a WonderWorks Attendant, you will be placed in one of several customer service roles. When applying for this placement, participants should be open to working in any of the roles, and performing all duties described below. Participants should understand they will be placed based on availability upon arrival.

Uniform Participant is required to purchase a Wonder Works employee shirt upon arrival for $ Jackets can be purchased as well, if needed, for $ Participants cannot wear any jacket other than the Wonder Works employee jacket if one is needed. Participants will need to bring with them or purchase upon arrival Khaki (tan) walking/knee length shorts or pants. Solid black or white, closed toe not skid shoes are required.

Rate : $8 ph Hours : Participants will have at least 1 day off each week and will have a flexible schedule that may change each week based on the employer’s needs. The participants are expected to work weekends and holidays, since this is the busiest time for the host employer. The participants will have a minimum of 30 work hours per week and will work 3-6 days per week, 4-8 hours per day. Due to uncontrollable circumstances, weather conditions or other factors beyond the control of the Host Employer and/or WWCE, some placements have uncertain start dates and hours of work and the participant may not receive the minimum 30 hours. The participant must be able to support all of their expenses in the U.S. until he/she gets his/her first paycheck, throughout the entire duration of the program and in the event of reduced working hours, and must have at least $1,000 with them

Housing Deposit, is required 60 days prior to arrival WWCE has located and will pre-arrange housing for each participant for the entire duration of the program. Each student selecting Program Housing is required to pay $150 Non-Refundable Housing Registration and Placement Fee by no later than September 17 th, 2014.
