Presentation transcript:

A questionnaire is a effective way of gaining information quickly and directly from an audience, and the results from a questionnaire can be displayed easily. A questionnaire, as it says in the name, is a page (web or paper) containing a range of questions that you want to learn from a group of people of their opinion of something. A graph to represent results from a questionnaire about favourite crisps from a group of people.

This term used for punched card and page scanning technology that allowed cards or pages marked with a pencil to be processed or converted into punched cards digitally.

Web data collection links to two subjects. The course of collecting data from websites also called web collection technologies and a gathering of various data that can be viewed online for a internet consumer, whether this be social networking or online gaming.

Optical Character Recognition This is a technology that enables you to convert different types of documents, such as scanned paper documents, PDF files or images captured by a digital camera into editable and searchable data.

Radio-frequency identification (RFID) is the wireless use of electromagnetic fields to transfer data, for the purposes of automatically identifying and tracking tags attached to objects. The tags contain electronically stored information. Such as when someone is trying to steal a item from a shop, the item will have a RFID tag and will alert the alarms.

Near Field Communication Basically Bluetooth added into RFID. NFC, or near-field communication, is an easy and intuitive technology that allows you to use your mobile phone for special purposes. An NFC tag can share and link to information such as web pages, social media and all other sorts of other information generally.
