U.S. Department of Education Office of Vocational and Adult Education sent a RFP announcement.  Great opportunity to expand Wisconsin’s work in the area of programs of study  Announcement of the award was in October, 2010  $258,400/year up to a maximum of four years

WHY MANUFACTURING Wisconsin is home to over 9,000 manufactures Manufacturing accounts for $47 billion to our state’s economy The manufacturing industry ranks #2 in Wisconsin gross state product The manufacturing industry employs 448,000 workers Six states in total were awarded RPOS grants Arizona – EducationKansas – STEM Maryland – AutomotiveMontana – Construction Utah – Health ScienceWisconsin - Manufacturing
