CAP Monograph Program  Editor – Lt Col James Scott   What is a monograph?  A short (5-10 pages) historical document on a specific topic in CAP history  Consult CAPP 5 for guidance on how to prepare a monograph

Historical Monographs  Submit your first draft to the CAP Monograph Editor  The Monograph Editor will then coordinate any changes required or recommendations suggested with the author  The Monograph Editor will then submit the monograph to the National Historical Editor for coordination with the National Editorial Board  The monograph will be published online once the author, Editor and Editorial Board members are in agreement on the final version and the monograph is approved by the Chief Historian

CAPP 223  Historian Specialty Track Study Guide  was reviewed by a committee composed of members of the National Historical Staff  Pamphlet Editor was Lt Col Richard Mulanax  Our goal was  to provide appropriate historical training for CAP historians  so we can provide better historical programs and historical documents for CAP  and recruit more history professionals as CAP historians
