32 TBM Basics TBM = theater ballistic missile TBM = range under 3,500 km; Ballistic = up and down path Course can’t be altered after fuel is burned out – like a cannon ball “SCUD” has become generic name Can carry high explosive (HE) or WMD –Chemical (poison gas or substance, i.e. mustard) –Biological agent (i.e. anthrax) –Nuclear (India, Pakistan probably have capability) Patriots have improved capability since 1991
