A crimping tool is a tool designed to crimp or connect a connector to the end of a cable. For example, network cables and phone cables are created using a crimping tool to connect the RJ-45 and RJ-11 connectors to the end of the cable. Short for Registered Jack-45, a RJ-45 is a 8- pinconnection used for Ethernet network adapters. This connector resembles to the RJ-11 or 6-pin connector used with telephones in the United States. In last slide is an example of image of what the RJ-45 looks like separate from the cable.Ethernet
