Fund: $2K Transmission oil/2 quarts Feb. 19 Mystery sheen IVO Willamette River led to discovery of submerged truck; floated/removed. Fund: $10K. Unknown/sheen Sheen reported near facilities in Portland near known Superfund site; NRCES hired for clean up. Harbor paper mill spill Hoquiam, WA – Feb. 15, 2015 Grays Hbr Public Utilities Dept dismantling Harbor Paper Mill: subcontractor pumped out a secondary tank to a culvert/ditch, causing 500x50-yd sheen in Hoquiam River.

Vehicle in WILLAMETTE river Portland, OR – Feb. 18-19, 2015 Ballard hired with $10K OSLTF for mystery sheen produced from axles of submerged truck.

C/S Portland Spirit, Willamette river Caruthers Landing (south of Ross Island Bridge), Portland, OR – May 20, 2015 Fuel line burst during refueling ops, 1 gal. diesel discharged; vsl placed boom and absorbent pads immediately. Letter of Warning issued for <1 gal diesel.

Sand Island, Cape Disappointment, WA – May 27, 2015 Mystery drums Sand Island, Cape Disappointment, WA – May 27, 2015 3 mystery drums reported on Sand Island near Cape D., WA. OSLTF opened for $1K and Cowlitz Clean Sweep hired for removal and disposal.

Cape Disappointment, WA – May 27, 2015 F/V four forty Cape Disappointment, WA – May 27, 2015 44’ wood F/V with 350+ gal diesel on board allides with “A” Jetty near Cape Disappointment, WA. Vsl sank, OSLTF opened for Ballard salvage ops. Minimal impact to environment as contractor recovered 350 gallons!

Sunken work boat, Willamette river Portland, OR – June 9, 2015 Work boat sank, discharged 10 gallons gasoline into Willamette River. Vsl righted by Gunderson Marine & towed to Sauvie Island for removal. 10 gal gas discharged; LOW.
