Hueneme Elementary Safety and Discipline Assembly

PURPOSES OF SCHOOL Learning Developing good character and citizenship

Attendance School starts at 8:05 a.m. and ends at 2:20 p.m. (2:30 p.m.: grades 4-6) Cafeteria opens at 7:40 a.m. Report to the office if you are late. Strive for “Perfect Attendance”. Your job is to come to school every day, on time, and be ready to learn.

Attendance Goal Attendance Goal for the School Year = 97% Students with perfect attendance will be rewarded. Students with poor attendance will need to meet with the Principal. Thunderbolt Attendance Challenge

Dress Code Must be suitable for school – neat, clean, size appropriate, and in good repair. Any clothing that is a distraction to the learning process is not allowed. No inappropriate pictures, images, designs, slogans, symbols, or wording on clothing Wear shoes you can play in. No flip flops or sandals. Always look your best!

Hueneme School Rules We come to school to learn. We listen, follow directions, and stay on task. We respect others and their property. We allow the teacher to teach and all students to learn. We keep our hands, feet, and other objects to ourselves. We are on time with materials and prepared to work. We come to school everyday and on time. We try our best at all times.
