The story of our school’s sustainable journey

  The main organising and coordinating body on the EkoSkola initiative is the committee. The Committee meets regularly every three weeks. It is made up of students from each year group, a teacher, an LSA, an SMT member, a parent representative, a member from the general hands and a member from the community. The Committee

 The Walking Bus Our aim behind this activity was to change the attitude of children and parents through innovative solutions which are environmentally friendly

 The Recyled Greenhouse A recycled plastic green house utilizing over than 1500 plastic bottles involving pupils, teachers, parents, village people and the local council

 The Eko Reading Garden An ecological reading area made up of recycled reading stools, reading chair and an oracy area including an outdoor theatre. The area is also serving as a water collection basin to fuel our small plants in our greenhouse.

 Arbor Day Helping children become aware of the benefits of trees whilst giving each child the opportunity to plant a Maltese indigenous seed and helping them nurture it

 Cleaning up Campaign We felt the need to reduce litter from our locality. The Local Mayor gave us a helping hand. We collected over 30 kilos of litter.
