SUNX Limited Overseas Sales Dept. 2 New Line Up FX-301B Blue LED (Beam wavelength; 470nm) FX-301G Green LED (525nm) FX-301H Infrared LED (940nm) Suited to differentiation of yellow and white. Suited to minute sensing like detection of the translucent label on the transparent film because light attenuation factor is high. Suited to differentiation of yellow and red. Light attenuation factor is higher than blue LED. Therefore, much suited for detection of transparent object. Does not expose film. Suited for detection of photo film. FX element red LED (650nm) 4-element red LED achieved stable detection over long periods. Standard type NOTE: Blue LED has much light intensity than green LED. Therefore, when longer sensing range is required, blue LED is suited.

SUNX Limited Overseas Sales Dept. 3 Target Industries/Customers Typical Application Sensing register marks(Color differentiation) Sensing labels on film Appealing point There are some color combinations that Red LED can not differentiate. Blue and green LED can cover them. (Please refer to the table in the last page) Customers’ requirement Films could be exposed by Red LED(650nm). Longer beam wavelength of more than 870nm is required. Appealing point Beam wavelength of FX-301H is 940nm. So the film will not be exposed. FX-301B/GFood and Pharmaceutical industries FX-301HFilm manufacturers (e.g. Fuji Photo Films, Kodak, Konica)

SUNX Limited Overseas Sales Dept. 4 Received Light Level by Color Color Differentiation Chart Ordinate: Color of object Abscissa: Received light level

SUNX Limited Overseas Sales Dept. 5 The chart shows the difference in received light level between FX-301 and FX-301B/G/H. How to use the chart Color Differentiation Chart Example: When detecting yellow mark on white background, With FX-301G, there is only slight difference in received light level between yellow and white. With FX-301B, however, there is much difference. Therefore, in this case, FX-301B is the suitable one. Received light level (Value on digital display) Color of object

SUNX Limited Overseas Sales Dept Key lock function Key operation can be disabled by pressing the jog switch and the Mode key simultaneously for 2 sec. or more. Once Key lock become valid, the amplifier will not accept any key operation until the lock is released. NOTE: 1: Turning the jog switch in LOCK-state displays the set threshold value. 2: When Key lock is set ON with Adjust lock OFF, only adjustment of the threshold value is accepted. Keep pressing for 2 sec. or more ‘Loc’ is displayed and blinked. Then, Key lock is valid. How to release Key lock press the jog switch and the Mode key simultaneously for 2 sec or more as well. Back to RUN mode automatically New functions Keep the jog switch pressed for 2 sec. or more in ‘RUN’ mode

SUNX Limited Overseas Sales Dept. 7 ‘Auto’ is displayed. Then release the jog switch when the object has passed. Keep pressing for 0.5 sec. or more 2. Full-auto Teaching Keep the jog switch pressed for 0.5 sec or more with the object in the moving condition. Select ‘TEACH mode’ Setting can be done without stopping the production line, with the object in the moving condition. New functions *Shift value is variable from -45% to +45%, in increments of 5%.(Factory setting is 0%) With the factory setting of 0%, the threshold value is set to the middle value of received light levels in the object present and object absent conditions. Ltch Auto SHFT PRO1 Peak level Bottom level Threshold value +45% -45% Threshold value Shift

SUNX Limited Overseas Sales Dept. 8 Compatibility

SUNX Limited Overseas Sales Dept. 9 Sensing yellow mark on white background (FX-301B) Sensing transparent bottle(FX-301G) Applications Sensing the translucent label on the transparent film(FX-301B) Sensing red mark on yellow background (FX-301G)

SUNX Limited Overseas Sales Dept. 10 Applications Sensing side-side fluctuations in motion of film (FX-301H) Differentiate dark black mark and light black mark (FX-301H) *Amplifier should be mounted outside, otherwise the digital display and indicators expose the film. Judging by difference in transmittance of emitted light.

SUNX Limited Overseas Sales Dept. 12 FX-311 series New Line Up FX-311B FX-311G Blue LED (Beam wavelength; 470nm) Green LED (525nm) Note: FX-311B/G does not have S-D mode. Blue/green do not allow so long sensing range. So there is no need of it. Instead, FAST mode of 150us is added to B/G. FX-311 Red 4-element LED (650nm) Standard type
