Objectives The Action aims to contribute to increase the number of competitive and environment friendly companies in Sivas Area; Enhance business community awareness toward sustainable development issues giving visibility to the phenomenon; Strengthen the cooperation between Turkish and EU Chambers through partnership. It also aims to: Create a support core team of STSO internal staff to deliver information, orientation and training services to companies and entrepreneurs in giving visibility to the new services of the Sivas CCI as a key service provider for competitive and environment friendly companies Sivas Area. In doing so the Action will target Sivas Chamber of Commerce and Industry and its employees, SMEs, entrepreneurs and Sivas business community at large, a network of stakeholder organizations. TOBB ETCF-II is co-funded by the European Union and the Republic of Turkey

Activities Phase 1: Inception Act. 1. Kick-off Partners Meeting (update of the work plan & Log frame, fine tuning of activities, meeting local stakeholders, partnership agreement). Act. 2. Strategic Research and Business Plan Development for STSO to develop vision, mission, action plan and activities for the Chamber and its new services. TOBB ETCF-II is co-funded by the European Union and the Republic of Turkey

Activities Phase 2: Capacity Building Act. 3. Training 1 on Sustainable Development and Corporate Social Responsibility for the staff, 5 days. Act. 4. Training 2 on Advanced Marketing for the staff, 4 days. Act. 5. Institutional Study Visit in Milan for 6 executives and staff members. Act. 6. Training 3 on Competitiveness and Internationalization for the staff, 4 days. Act.7. Training 4 on Advanced Management (leadership, conflict/client/risk management, negotiation skills, HR & cash flow management) for the companies & staff members, 5 days. Act. 8. Training 5 on Branding, Packaging & Merchandising for the companies and staff members, 3 days. Act. 9. Training 6 on EU Acquis on Food Safety for companies & staff members, 3 days. TOBB ETCF-II is co-funded by the European Union and the Republic of Turkey

Activities Phase 3: Promotion Act. 10. Pilot Phase: launch of New Services Desk, training delivery to companies, coaching of SMEs on application of SD and CSR methodologies, SMEs from those above have their web pages developed by STSO, networking). Act. 11. Final Conference to disseminate results & final partners meeting: administration/reporting/follow up). Phase 4: Evaluation Act. 12. Expected Results At the end of the project, STSO will be recognized as a key support service provider and key node of networking in the field of competitiveness and promotion of sustainable development.
