General Advice All students completing CILT professional qualifications must be an affiliate student of their local CILT section and be registered on the CILT international database. Training providers must be accredited to deliver the Institute’s international professional qualifications. If a training provider seeks to deliver the CILT qualifications, they must have formal accreditation and authority from the Director General. Details of the criteria for meeting the accreditation standards are available from the Director General. Studies are undertaken locally, supervised by CILT International. Similarly, our examinations are held at local level where this can be arranged. The training provider may offer the courses on a modular basis, either part time or full time to suit the majority of the candidates. Local sections may offer their own accredited qualifications which are equivalent to the CILT international qualifications.
