Operating revenues amounted to $1,029.9 million in 2010, an increase of 15.8% from Fish sales accounted for 92.4% of total operating revenue in 2010 The gross value added to the economy by the aquaculture industry rose to $489.4 million, up 59.9% from Total exports of farmed salmon increased 7.3% in 2010, while farmed mussel exports increased 19.9% compared to 2009.
