All rights reserved. 3Qwest Confidential & Proprietary Release 10.0 – QORA ASR Gateway Qwest will implement the ASOG Version 35 Industry Standard changes to the ASR forms and fields decided upon at an industry level with participating members of the OBF Committees. Effective date for this release as dictated by the industry is September 17, For detailed information about the industry changes on the ASR – refer to the ATIS website: Qwest will implement upfront validations in the QORA ASR Gateway that impact all ASRs being transmitted to Qwest electronically. This includes the web-based QORA (Qwest Online Request Application) GUI application, or through direct connections, such as NDM or UOM interfaces.

All rights reserved. 4Qwest Confidential & Proprietary Customer Impacts/Value How does implementation of Qwest up front editing add value for you, our customer? –The QORA GUI application is a superior alternative to paper ASR forms, offering on-line help as well as validations for accuracy. –Upfront edits streamline processing time for your request, by ensuring the data supplied by you is as accurate as possible. –Prior to the ASR being accepted into Qwest’s systems, you are notified of the errors on the ASR allowing corrections to be made, thereby reducing the need for costly re-issues of the ASR (supplements). –An accurate ASR helps ensure the accurate provisioning of your request the first time. –Accurate entries also create accurate billing, reducing the possibility for errors on your monthly bill. –Reduced cycle time due to less re-work and supplements being required.

All rights reserved. 5Qwest Confidential & Proprietary General Changes Status Change Notification –When a change in the status on any ASR is received, the system shall generate and send an to the initiator of the ASR noting the previous status and the new status. –If there in not an address on the ASR, a status change notice is not sent. –To request the Status Change Notification, following the release contact the Help Desk to request the notification. Date Calculation – QORA GUI –Desired Due Date calculation functionality will be added. –This will aid in determining the appropriate DDD for the ASR.

All rights reserved. 6Qwest Confidential & Proprietary DDD/EXP Field Validation: –For DS1 service, when the standard interval is 9 days, QORA will validate that the DDD is equal to or greater than 9 days. If the DDD is less than 9 days, the EXP field must be populated. CFA Field Validation: –Qwest will validate the CFA/SCFA on ACT of “C” for availability. If the ECCKT is already assigned to the CFA/SCFA, the ASR will not be rejected for busy CFA/SCFA. NDO Field Validation: –Qwest will validate that the value in the NDO field on the Translations Form matches the outpulse digits specified in LERG 6 when the ASR = Nor C and the TQ first position is W, X, L, or M, and the Trunk.ACT is not E. All rights reserved. 7Qwest Confidential & Proprietary Field Rules/Validation-Cont’d Ethernet Virtual Connection (EVC) Form Validations: –Qwest will validate the EVC.NUT field on the ASR is populated with 1 or greater when the ASR.ACT = N and the ASR EVCI = A. –Qwest will validate when the EVC.UACT = C, D, or R, the associated EVC.RUID is populated. –Qwest will validate when the EVC.UACT = C, D, or R, the associated EVC.RPON is not populated. –Qwest will validate that the associated RUID and RPON are not both populated –Qwest will validate that the NC code is populated with VLP- or VLM- –Qwest will validate that when the LOSACT = N or C, the LOS field must be populated.

All rights reserved. 8Qwest Confidential & Proprietary Field Rules/Validation-Cont’d CIC Field Validations: –Qwest will validate the CIC field on the Trunking Form to the CIC field on the Translation Form (TQFGD.CIC) if populated. –If both values do not match they system shall reject the ASR with an error message “CIC value on the TQ form must match CIC value on Trunking Form”.

All rights reserved. 10Qwest Confidential & Proprietary FAQs Are manually transmitted ASRs impacted with this release? –Yes – the industry changes for ASOG Version 35 are applicable and the new forms must be used effective with ASRs transmitted to Qwest after 3:00 pm (MST) on Friday September 14, Do the QORA ASR Gateway upfront edits impact our company if we have our own ordering systems? –Yes – all ASRS electronically submitted to Qwest through direct connections, e.g., NDM or UOM are impacted with the new edits/validations.
