Project Scope Description – Enhancing Ambulance Responses to Calls – Harnessing Community Medical Resources Partnerships required – SF Department of Emergency Management – SF Fire Department – AVL/CAD integration company – Application devloper

Project Action Plan Major Tasks – Define Scope, Identify/Assembly Team – CAD/AVL integration – Application development – Training and community awareness Targets – Project Plan within 2 weeks – System Architecture within 4 weeks

Impacts/Benefits Quicker response times to medical calls Community response to cardiac arrest events Increase the survivability of stroke and hear attack incidents More efficient use of existing resources Creating a model that could be replicated by other cities

Demonstration Demonstration scenario – Pilot project in Emergency Response District – Real incidents or functional exercises that demonstrate the ability of dispatchers to call upon community medical resources.
