02/10/2015Presentation name602/10/2015Presentation name6 All schools to contract for work in Years 9-11, to ensure all students receive the relevant professional support they need to make effective decisions with regard to their future and subsequently secure positive outcomes If the provision of Local Authority Careers Guidance services ceases, the benefits previously outlined will be significantly diminished and the inevitable outcome will be increased transitional related issues and a rise in young people facing considerable challenges in achieving their goals At present, there is a planned and co-ordinated approach from Youth Direction to supporting all students in schools, both universal and vulnerable, this would be lost if the Local Authority Careers Guidance services ceases Any questions? 610/2/2015 What needs to happen next?
