Welcome To Curriculum Night! Mrs. Watola and Ms. Resnick’s Seventh Grade Math Class Room 725

Communication  Blog: Ms. Resnick and Mrs. Watola have blog which is updated weekly to provide updated information on classwork, homework, and upcoming assignments.Ms. Resnick Mrs. Watola  Website: Our class website has many resources which support our standards. The resources are provide both remediation and enrichment. Website  Edmodo: Students will complete biweekly reflections in Edmodo.  s will send periodic s to update parents on important class information. Parent may always contact us to address any concern or question. Beverly Watola Lindsay Resnick

Student Responsibilities  Students fill out their agenda and complete their warm up when they arrive. Homework is checked in class daily.  Homework will be given Monday through Thursday with occasional projects or test prep over the weekend. Students are expected to complete all class work and homework assignment.  Students are responsible to check the blog for what they missed when they are absent. Students are responsible for checking with the teacher for missing assignments.

Curriculum News  Grade 7 Math Syllabus is on my blog, and students have taken a copy home to sign. Grade 7 Math Syllabus  Seventh Grade Units * Operations with Rational Numbers * Expressions and Equations * Ratio and Proportional Relationships * Geometry * Inferences of Populations * Probability  Grading Categories * Classwork 20% * Homework 10% * Formative Assessments 30% * Summative Assessments 40%

Extra Support  Help sessions are scheduled on Tuesday afternoons from 4:05-4:35. However, arrangements can be made to schedule additional sessions.  121 Reach Tutoring will begin on Monday, August 31 after school from 4:05 to 5:00 PM in the cafeteria.  Study Guide will be provided for Unit Tests to help guide students in their study. Students may use blog resources, worksheets and math journal to study for quizzes.  Review the blog each week for assignments and resources to help your child!
