Research Innovation McMaster Innovation Park a premier 37 acre research, offers collaborative space for researchers and entrepreneurs alike to co-locate, connect and commercialize; a place to transform ideas from vision to commercial opportunity; includes federal research lab (Canmet Materials Lab) and 80,000 square-foot, state -of-the-art McMaster Automotive Resource Centre (MARC) MARC will house industry-scale labs, classrooms and equipment to prototype vehicles of the future. Both academic and industry organizations, from OEMs to parts suppliers to start-ups, will have access to MARC to pursue market-oriented research and development (26M project, will employ 120) Biointerfaces Institute only one of its kind; 10,000 sq.ft facility is a testing lab for industrial partners and as a centerpiece for the development of biosensors and diagnostics to aid in commercialization of sensor technologies 5
