Simplification of a complicated concrete theme in lieu of a simple abstract theme

There are several classical music pieces with very mind capturing themes which could be ideal to be applied in a lesson plan. These pieces are usually heard on TV, radio or in public venues. Therefore it is easy for the students to connect with and learn them.
