The Leaning Tower of Pisa  The construction of this imposing mass was started in the year1174.  When the tower had reached its third story the works ceased because it had started sinking into the ground.

 The Leaning tower of Pisa weighs tons!  Although it took quite a long time for construction to be completed the official estimated weight of the tower is just shy of tons!

 It took177 years to build the Tower of Pisa  It is between 836 years and 690 years old  WOW! That is OLD!
