Using Your Surface

“On” or “Wake-up” 7 On o Touch the power button at the top of the Surface (w/ keyboard open) Wake-up o Press and release the power button on the top of the Surface o Open the Cover o Press a key or the Windows logo

Standby vs Shut down 8 Standby (Sleep) o Press and release the power button at the top of the Surface o Close key board cover o Don’t use for period in Sleep mode setting Shut down (off) o Active Screen 1.Swipe to the right to access the tool bar. 2.Click “settings” 3.Click the power icon and select “shut down” o Sign on or Start Screens o Tap or Click power button on screen and select “shut down”

Accessing Course Presentations 18 On Desktop, create a folder named MarketSim o Right click on desktop screen and select, New and Folder Log in to the model o Click on the “Getting Started” tile o Click on the “Schedules and Lectures” Tile o Click on the “Lecture Slides & Handouts” Tile o Hover over the “Course Presentations” tab o Click on Date, Sunday, July 19 o Click on Topic, Simulation Technology o Select the Presentation and select “Open” o After opened then use “Save As” and select the folder you created to save the presentation Extra credit – right click on the folder and Pin to Start!
