Interactive Whiteboard The Advantages

They are great for demonstrations. The presenter can run the application while standing in front of the whiteboard. He or she can use a finger or a stylus for a mouse to interact with the application and multimedia can add to the presentation

Interactive whiteboards are colorful. Students respond well to displays where color is employed.

It can accommodate different learning styles. Tactile learners can touch and mark on the board. Audio learners can lead the class discussion. Visual learners can see it as it develops

Students of all ages respond well to them Students from pre-school to graduate school. Applications are made for a wide variety of ages, grades and abilities.

One computer can maximize the use of limited computer access classrooms The class as a whole can be involved in lessons presented on it with some students at the whiteboard and others at the computer.

Allows the instructor to implement their own creative ability. There is a wide variety of applications that the instructor can adapt or create. Its use is only limited by the imagination of the instructor and the students.

Interactive whiteboards are clean and attractive tools. There is no messy chalk dust to clean up. Whiteboards can be used with dry erase markers, but typically a stylus or a finger are used for marking.

Students with limited motor skills can use and enjoy it. Students that have difficulty using a mouse, can work with the large format and using there finger for a mouse.

Whiteboards are interactive. Students can work on the board while the teacher is stationed at the computer, and the remainder of class can contribute physically and/or verbally.

Whiteboards are good for lessons or meetings where copies of the presentation are needed. At the end of the lesson or brainstorming session, the resulting output can be printed out or saved in a file for later use.
