Learning About the Bible CONCEPT: What is Divine Revelation?

Learning About the Bible To reveal means to make something known that was not known before. We are all made in God’s image. Divine Revelation is the hidden truths God chose to reveal about Himself. God revealed himself gradually – it began with the creation of the first humans, continued with the Israelites and was complete when he sent his Son, Jesus Christ.

Learning About the Bible Together God the Father and Jesus send the Holy Spirit to strengthen us. The Holy Spirit guides the Church to understand God’s Revelation. The Blessed Trinity is the Three Persons in One God. The Blessed Trinity is God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.
