Merchandise Pull: the removing of fashion show items from the sales floor to a show storage area. Runway: Elevated fashion show walkways for models that project our from the stage, usually into the audience seating area. Commentary: A spoken explanation of what is going on in a fashions how, especially pointing out specific features of each outfit being modeled.

Choreography: The planned arrangement of movement, such as specific dance steps or gestured moves in a fashion show. Lineup: The order in which outfits will appear in a fashion show. Dressers; People who help fashion show models change and care for the clothes.

C OORDINATING FASHION SHOWS The physical layout, music, choreography, and commentary must work together to enhance the theme and make the fashion show run smoothly. Physical Layout: Includes decorations, backdrops, runways, lighting, and props to create the right atmosphere. Music: Must relate to the age and tastes of the audience. The right music sets the tempo for the show. Choreography: Used to plan the models’ walking or dancing and the interaction of the models on the stage or runway. Commentary: This describes the clothing and accessories. The commentator is the show narrator.
