HISTORY OF SOCIAL HOUSING IN MARYSTOWN, NL – construction of 200 housing units comprising of row housing, duplexes and individual homes Early 1980s - divestiture of some of these units started, specifically duplexes and individual homes Currently – NL Housing Corporation owns 147 units, mostly row housing on Atlantic Crescent and Smallwood Crescent Currently – 26 of those units are vacant and in need of extensive repair
