Health Issues In Angola Myre Adnan

General Statement The United Nation needs to give Angola health aids and facilities. Angola is the worlds most suffering country when it comes to health issues. The following slides will explain why.

Mortality Rate The Mortality Rate is the number of deaths (On average) Out of a certain number. The country with the most deaths in that certain number has the highest mortality rate. The following Slides will show the Mortality Rate in Angola and 3 bordering countries (out of 1000 births), both for infants and for all ages.

Mortality Rate Infant Mortality Rate (out of 1000 living infants under the age of 1) Country Mortality Rate Angola Repiblic of Congo81.21 Zambia101.2 Namibia45.51

Infant Mortality Rate in Angola and 3 Bothering Countries (Below age 1)

Mortality Rate Mortality Rate All Ages (Out of 1000 living humans. CountryMortality Rate Angola20.5 Republic Of Congo11.4 Zambia18.8 Namibia12.41

Mortality Rate (All Ages)

Mortality Rate The Graphs show that Angola has the most Mortality Rate (Infants AND all ages) amongst 3 other bordering countries. Angola has 180 deaths per 1000 living infants on average. This means Angola has about 2 deaths per every 10 infants! Imagine seeing 10 babies getting born in the hospital, knowing that on average 2 of them will die! Angola has 21 deaths/ per 1000 living (all ages). This means out of every 100 people, 2 will not survive.

Reasons for High Mortality Rate Angola has a high mortality rate because of health issues like drugs and diseases. Marijuana is one big drug that is causing this, and diseases like Malaria, Cholera and Rabies Dengue, Filarasis, Leishmaniasis and Onchorisasis are other diseases caused by insects that occur in the country. The UN can find many cures to this, many diseases like these have already found solutions in countries like US, UK and Canada. The UN needs to bring these health facilities to this country so these diseases can go away.

Life Expectancy The Life Expectancy is the age which a Country’s living humans are expected to die in. (On Average) The Following Slides will show the Life Expectancy of Angola and 3 bordering countries.

Life Expectancy Country Life Expectancy Angola Republic of Congo54.91 Zambia52.36 Namibia52.19 The Life Expectancy At Birth

Life Expectancy at Birth

Life Expectancy at Birth (Both Genders) The Graph on the previous slide shows that Angola has the least life expectancy at birth, least amongst 3 other bordering countries. All the other 3 bordering countries, on average, reach an age above 50, while Angola is below 40. This is another sign to show the health issues in Angola. The Age a human is expected to live is 38 only! That’s around the age men get married, so their sons won’t even see their father and mother, if they were to die on the average life expectancy!

Reasons for Low Life Expectancy The Life Expectancy is low because of The same Health Issues that there were for the other High Mortality Rate. Research results say that this has been the same for the past 10 years, nothing has changed.

Conclusion With the Life Expectancy and Mortality Rate of this Country being the worst, this country deserves some real help from the United Nation. The United Nation can help by giving Health Aids, Cures to many Diseases, and this country will surely be better for the habitants.
