Urbana University Annual Fund The Annual Fund at Urbana University provides unrestricted and budget-relieving support for the general operating budget of the University. The Annual Fund provides a way for our alumni and other friends of Urbana University to express their appreciation for the education they received or other benefits that have been provided to them. Giving to Urbana University allows you to invest in the continued growth of the University and insures that others – students, parents, faculty, staff, and friends – will have those same experiences. The gifts you make to the Annual Fund can be used in various ways -- to strengthen and enhance academic programs, provide scholarship assistance to students with financial need, provide funding for faculty development, increase resources in the library, provide necessary upgrades to our technology, sustain and grow our athletic programs, and help renovate our buildings and other facilities on campus. Your contribution helps the University bridge the gap between tuition revenues and the actual cost of an Urbana University education. With your financial support of the Annual Fund, you are helping provide the necessary resources that will move us from status quo to excellence. Thank you for helping Urbana University move into areas of growth that will benefit our students, faculty and staff. Q: Why should I give to Urbana Universitys Annual Fund? A: Your generous support helps Urbana University focus on our mission of offering a liberal arts education in a small college environment emphasizing student learning through individual attention, excellence in instruction, career-oriented programs, and critical reflection on moral and ethical values. Q: Where do these gifts go? A: Gifts to the Annual Fund are unrestricted and are used where the need is greatest. That means your gift supports student financial aid, faculty development, computer and lab equipment, library resources, etc. Q: Does my gift make a difference? A: Yes! Every gift is an affirmative vote for Urbana University and helps provide an affordable education for our students. The collective impact of many gifts is substantial. Corporations and foundations are more likely to add their financial support when support is high from alumni and friends. Your gift really does count!
