We should be able to construct a curriculum (and guide students through it with effective advising) that helps them move steadily toward their goals. This is not incompatible with student learning or exploration. We must examine our curriculum and the evidence of its effectiveness or flaws so that we can improve it. The longer we take to make systemic changes that help students to learn and succeed, the more likely it becomes that someone will impose change upon us.

24 What courses, taken within their first 24 credit hours, best prepare students to succeed? Within Hours

Suggest 15 credit hours of coursework that both satisfies certificate, degree, and transfer needs, and shows evidence of increasing student success. Within 24 Hours Provide students with the evidence that supports these recommendations. Convince, not compel.
