Castle Time What is Castle Time? It’s a time for Norton faculty to work collaboratively to differentiate for the learning needs of every student in our grade level. Who will be involved? Classroom teachers, ESL teacher, reading and math specialists and paraprofessionals. What does it look like? For 30 minutes each day, students are grouped in order to address their specific learning needs (enrichment, intervention or both). Groups are flexible and change every few weeks.

Grading and Report Cards 9 week grading periods Progress reports include: reading, writing, math, science, and social studies Grades of 70 and above=passing Subjects graded: reading, oral written communication (writing and word work), math, science, social studies Handwriting, conduct, and specials (art, music, and PE) receive letter grades
