Let’s Learn about Resources! Second Grade Social Studies SOL 2.7 The student will describe the difference between natural resources (water, soil, wood, coal), human resources (people at work), and capital resources (machines, tools, and buildings).

There are 3 types of Resources: Natural Resources: Those resources that occur in nature. The items used to make the goods and services. Human Resources: The people; the physical and mental labor. The people who make the goods and services. Capital Resources: The machines, the tools, and the buildings used by people to create the goods and services.

NATURAL RESOURCES:  Gifts of Nature; things that are just there!

HUMAN RESOURCES: Physical and Mental Labor

Set a goal and then accomplish it!
