Hudson Street, Greenville, SC 29601) Our Branch still mourns the loss of Mr. Winfred C. Daniels last week, our 93 year old Gold Life Member, a NAACP Champion who will be greatly missed. We are still excited about our National NAACP Convention Youth ACT-SO competition Gold Medal winner, Olivia Hopkins and our other youth who made us proud, Dustin Sayles, Cedric Shell, and Jadais Young. They were showcased at the Life Membership Prayer Breakfast in late July and will be again in November 6th at our Freedom Fund Banquet. Also we are still elated about the 2nd Place Winner of the SC NAACP Woman of the Year, Dr. Flora J. Winestock. Everyone please bring the signed petitions supporting the Restoration of Section 5 of the Voting Rights Act of 1965.
