POMPTON LAKES PUBLIC SCHOOL DISTRICT’S PRE-SCHOOL INTEGRATED PROGRAM (PIP) THE POMPTON LAKES PUBLIC SCHOOL DISTRICT IS ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR ITS PRE-SCHOOL INTEGRATED PROGRAM (PIP) FOR THE SCHOOL YEAR AT LINCOLN SCHOOL. THE PROGRAM OFFERS A LANGUAGE-RICH, EDUCATIONAL CURRICULUM TO PRESCHOOLERS. THE PROGRAM INCLUDES STUDENTS WITH DISABILITIES AND THOSE WITHOUT THEM. THE PROGRAM IS ALIGNED WITH THE DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION’S PRESCHOOL TEACHING AND LEARNING EXPECTATIONS AND FOLLOWS THE HIGH SCOPE CURRICULUM. THE PRE-SCHOOL CLASS INCLUDES EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES DESIGNED TO PROMOTE SKILLS AND ABILITIES IN THE AREAS OF ACADEMIC, LANGUAGE, SOCIAL, EMOTIONAL, AND MOTOR DEVELOPMENT IN A FUN AND ENGAGING MANNER.

POMPTON LAKES PUBLIC SCHOOL DISTRICT’S PRE-SCHOOL INTEGRATED PROGRAM (PIP) IN ORDER TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THE PROGRAM, A CHILD MUST BE FOUR (4) YEARS OF AGE ON OR BEFORE OCTOBER 1, 2013 AND A RESIDENT OF POMPTON LAKES. THE PROGRAM OPERATES ON A HALF-DAY PM ONLY (12:20 – 3:05 PM) SESSION FIVE DAYS PER WEEK, SEPTEMBER THROUGH JUNE, AND FOLLOWS THE POMPTON LAKES PUBLIC SCHOOL CALENDAR. APPLICATIONS CAN BE DOWNLOADED FROM THE WEBSITE. PRINTED APPLICATIONS ARE ALSO AVAILABLE IN THE MAIN OFFICES OF LINCOLN, LENOX, LAKESIDE, THE OFFICE OF SPECIAL SERVICES AND THE BOARD OF EDUCATION BUILDING. COMPLETED APPLICATIONS MUST BE RECEIVED BY MAY 31, SPACE IS LIMITED SEATS AND SEATS WILL BE FILLED IN THE ORDER THAT THE DISTRICT RECEIVES APPLICATIONS.
