Winter 1991 I was convinced by my friend Karin to fill out the coupon in a magazine: I applied for the competition "Model 92" in the tv show „Gottschalk“. 29. April 1992 I won the competition "Model 92". The first instruction came soon. I was happy, but also sensible: Instead of accepting the offer in Miami, I first finished my High- School Diploma. Juni 1992 I passed my High-School Diploma in my town Bergisch Gladbach. I got my best grades in Maths, where I got the grade B and in Art, I got an A. It`s not necessary talking about my other subjects...:=) Summer 1992 I quitted my training in modeldesigning and decided to aim for a career in modelling. I took precautions for my dream career: a lawyer, a worldwide policeassurance and the most important thing: having my mobile always handy to phone my parents. The beginning in modelling was very hard: casting after casting, taking photos after photos and travelling from Paris to Milan.

1997 In Spring I was having my premiere on the catwalk for "Victoria's Secret". That meant the promotion to the model-head for me. In Summer I answered the affirmative to our wedding, which maintained to the end of I have been the first german covergirl on „Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue“. With 55 millions of readers looking trough it, I got my international breakthrough. Summer 1996 I founded the Heidi Klum GmbH and was helping with the creation of the logo. I applied for a patent, so that my name could legally be used in fashion. “You can never know, for what it would be useful", I thought at that time. Oktober 2002 I got my part on the pirelli calendar Februar 2003 The first of the three shoe- exemplars of the assortment “Birkenstock designed by Heidi Klum“ appeared on the market. Carnival 2003 I was joining the carnival Monday procession for my first time – as a guest on the wagon that was named: Der „Rote Funke“ From this time on I was saving my autographs with the aid of the authenticitiy signment April 2003 I was allowed to baptize the ship AIDAaura! Juni 2003 My jewellery designs “Mouawad, The Heidi Klum Collection”appeared in the U.S.A. in the first three New Yorker stores: SAKS 5th Avenue, Nieman und Markus. September 2003 I celebrated hundred new working places from my publicity partner Katjes. November 2003 I get Germanys most important Media price, the so called “Bambi“, in the category Fashion.

Januar 2004 My first fashion collection can be ordered from “Otto“. Februar 2004 For the first time you can buy a computer game in which I synchronize the voice of the operative Katiya Nadanova in “James bond- all or nothing“. April 2004 I was elected by the readers of the magazine FHM to the most erotic German. Mai 2004 A undescribeable moment: The birth of my daughter Leni.

October 2004 My note paper has a water mark now. December 2004 I have my own TV- Show in the U.S.A.: “Project Runway” My book “Body Knowledge” appeared in the U.S.A. Spring 2005 Now you can buy my first baby-collection from Otto, with cute, little logos from me. March 2005 My book with the title: “Naturally triumphant” appears on the German market.
