Do not utilize the Verification System to search for Certified Enrollment Entities or Counselors. The public should be directed to the locate assistance tool to find Counselors in their area. Purpose
How to find a Certified Enrollment Counselor To find a Certified Enrollment Counselor click on the “Find Help Near You” button on the bottom right of the screen.

In the search fields enter information about location or the organization.
How to find a Certified Enrollment Counselor On the search results screen click on the organization to get more information about the entity’s Certified Enrollment Counselors.
CEC Verification System Home Page The home page offers information about the verification process, a prominent button to Search Online Registry and also a tab for the same in the menu bar.
The versatile search options allow you to search by: CEC Name (first, last or both) Certification # (full or partial) CEE Name County A combination of the above fields can be used to refine the search. The Search Page
Search Results In the search results the following fields are displayed: CEC Name, CEC Status, Certification Number, Certification Date, Name of Entity, and Counties served. Additional filters are provided for each field, if the search result returns a large number of CECs.
