OWLS! By: Amy Diep!

AMAZING OWLS!  Owls are amazing and wonderful creatures and there are much more to learn about them. In this information report find out the fantastic things about owls!

FOOD! Lots of owls eat different things such as the barn owl, it eats field rats, moles, small birds and sometimes crayfish.

HOW DO OWLS TURN THEIR HEAD AROUND?  Owls don’t need eyes in the back of their heads to see what’s behind them, they can rotate their heads 720 degrees in each direction which means that they can look to the left by rotating the way to the right. Here’s a fact, owls have three eyelids one for sleeping, one for blinking and one for keeping an eye on what is going on.

HABITAT!  Owls often are in forests and dry lands. Some like the Tropical forest and deserts.

LIFE CYCLE! 1) they mate 2) they lay eggs 3) The eggs hatch 4) The baby owl comes out
