Galapagos Penguins The Galapagos penguins are one of the few 11 out of 17 species of penguins. The galapagos penguins burrow to lay there eggs. Which they tend to for 38 to 40 days. Only found in the galapagos islands, in Ecuador. The size of these penguins are 19 inches in height and 5.5 pounds in weight.

The Habitat They Live In Only found in the galapagos islands, in Ecuador. they rest on sandy beaches, and rocky shores. They depend on the current to bring them food, and other population sustaining necessities. They nest on sheltered coasts.

What’s Making Them Extinct? Destruction of suitable habitat of suitable habitat due to pollution. They accidentally get tangled up in fishing nets. The weather conditions really effect the penguins health.
