Advancement Requirements Must pass core subject coursework with a 70%. Pass STAAR Reading and Math Summer School is ONLY available for those students who do not pass STAAR.

Graduation Requirements & Credits Requirements are those classes that Willis ISD and the State of Texas need you to take in order to graduate from High School Credits are earned upon completion and passing of a required course Each semester =.5 credit One full year = 1.0 credits

Course Selection Course Selection sheets will be handed out during your 6 th period If you have any changes, please mark off the class you want to drop and write the class you want to add All sheets need to be returned signed to your 6 th period teacher by May 10. You will get a final verification sheet with your end of the year report card.

Important If you do not turn in your course selection sheet signed and do not list an alternate course you will not be able to make any schedule changes. Schedules will be handed out at registration

What 8 th Graders want to know What is the schedule? When is lunch? How big is the High School? Where are classes located? What are the requirements for Drivers Ed.? Do I have to get a locker?
