Quilt Walk on 11th and 12th was cancelled.  Suwannee County:Schools closed early for the day.

Plans Planning Assumptions The remains of Andrea off the E coast of Florida may affect fire weather conditions.  Fire-related sickness and injuries may cause a surge on hospital & pre-hospital systems  Winds from the NE at 10 to 15 mph with higher gusts are expected.  Wildfires in SE US are limiting available mutual aid resources for suppression activities in Florida; Out-of-state wildland burners need to be Florida certified.  No significant rainfall anticipated over the next 24 hours, except in the Panhandle. Scattered Showers are expected throughout the state on Sunday. Dispersion rates in the peninsula should be moderate on Saturday and move to high on Sunday. The panhandle will stay at high all weekend.  Weather events and ground conditions may lead to unexpected changes in fire patterns and paths.

As needs arise, the American Red Cross chapters in Florida who are responding to the wildfires, have begun the casework process. Home visits, case management, and direct emergency financial assistance to individuals and families has begun. Request if anyone has information on families affected by the wildfires with emergency disaster caused needs, to please contact the American Red Cross (either ECO at State EOC or the local chapter). ESF 12 FUELS Current Issues The following fuel tenders are available to be sent to any area within 12 hours: 17 – 9,000 gal fuel tenders (gas or diesel) 8 – 1,500 to 4,000 gal fuel tenders available (gas or diesel) One of the tenders has already been deployed to the area. The retail gas stations in the affected areas have been surveyed and there are no fuel shortages being reported.

ESF 12 FUELS Unmet needs. None at this time. Future Operations Continue current operations. Continue surveying retail gas stations to determine fuel availability.

ESF 12 ELECTRIC POWER Current Issues For safety reasons, 2 substations north of Lake City may have to be taken off line if fire gets too close. 400 customers would lose power. FP&L is proactively applying fire retardant coatings to some power poles in the path of the wildfire. 3 trucks in the region are the gel. Monitoring outage status with electric utilities. In St. Augustine, FP&L crews are replacing 2 poles and 1,000 feet of distribution line. 6 customers without power. Unmet Needs None at this time. Future Operations Continue current operations.
