EUROPEAN STUDENTS’ FORUM

STUDENT MOBILITY Two types: A study at foreign university (Erasmus exchange) from 3 to 12 months How to participate: Partnerships of your university or create your own contact. You can also go without scholarship. A traineeship (work placement) abroad in an enterprise or NGO (like AEGEE local) from 2 to 12 months How to participate: Find a hosting organization for your traineeship: list of your sending university, by your own, search tool, work placements agencies,… You can go on Erasmus in each cycle of your study (bachelor, master and PhD) = 3 times, 12 months in total

GRANT SIZE EU grant – 150; 200; 250 EUR National contribution – depends on country (Regional or Local contribution) – in some cases

SPECIAL BONUS Students from disadvantaged backgrounds between 100 and 200 EUR per month. Students in traineeships between 100 and 200 EUR per month. Students from outermost Programme Countries and regions

MOBILITY FOR YOUNG PEOPLE AND YOUTH WORKERS Activities within Programme Countries: all participating organisations must be from a Programme Country. Activities with Partner Countries neighbouring the EU: the activity must involve at least one participating organisation from a Programme Country and one participating organisation from a Partner Country neighbouring the EU.

LARGE SCALE EVS At least 30 volunteers Between 14 days and 2 months Large-scale volunteering projects for international events in the field of youth, culture and sport (e.g. World Youth Summits, European Capitals of Culture; European Youth Capitals, European sport championships, etc.) > Just one EVS in life, except if it last less than 2 months

EVS – HOW TO PARTICIPATE Organizations: First get EVS accreditation by NA (or EACEA for countries without NA). 6 weeks for approval. Hosting accreditation – to send volunteer Sending accreditation – to host volunteer Apply for a project as Coordinating org. or partner Volunteers: Find organization: hosting or sending EVS database Find open call/vacancy Web pages of organizations and Facebook groups

YOUTH WORKERS’ TRAINING AND NETWORKING (3.1 AND 4.3) Types: seminar, training, job shadowing, etc. Min 2 days max 2 months of activity (not project), without travel dates No age limit No limitation for venue (anywhere in the world) Up to 50 participants How to participate? = Youth exchanges: youth organizations, Facebook groups, newsletters,... SALTO-YOUTH

TRAVEL COSTS Before 70% of travel cost. Now amount is defined on type and distance between places. Youth Exchanges EVS & Youth workers

HOW TO APPLY? - ORGANIZATIONS Develop the idea for your project Read the programme guide (sections affecting the action you want to apply for). Check also the information and supporting documents in the website of your National Agency Find partners Register your organization on ECAS and the Participant Portal Download the Mobility for Young People and Youth Workers Application eForm and fill it in Ask your partners to send you the partner information needed for the application and the partner mandate signed and scanned Attach to the application the activity timetable, mandates and the other documents needed Calculate travel costs for each partner of your project Submit your application online Ask your National Agency if you have doubts

DEADLINES 17 March at 12pm 17 June and 31 December of the same year 30 April at 12pm 1 August of the same year and 28 February of the following year 1 October at 12pm 1st January and 30 September of the following year
