Plants can be propagated (reproduced) several different Ways. In class we will discuss the following ways. Sexual: Floral (flower) parts of plants have the ability to form seeds. Asexual: Utilize a part or parts of one parent plant. Cuttings: A part is cut from the parent plant and then forms roots. Layering: A part of the plant forms new roots while still attached to the parent plant. Division: A plant is separated into smaller parts (including roots).
