TURKEY

Turkey takes place between mild and subtropical sides of the world.

Because of its diverse regions and geographical features, It has different climatic features. Four seasons are felt specifically. Generally, the temperate Mediterranean climate is dominant on the coastal areas, but in the interiors the continental climate has been seen.

Gaziantep is in the South Eastern Anatolia Region of Turkey. It has a continental climate, but the south- west of Gaziantep has Mediterranean climate with hot, dry summers and mild to cool, wet winters.

During the project, We followed the official weather reports on the website of Gaziantep Meteorological Service and we took all the temperatures from their web-page. Adress:

From the beginning of the project,the results followed are like below : The hottest day of last year is on 18th July and the hottest month is July. The temperature highs up nearly 40 °C or 45 °C

The coldest day of the year is on 19th February and the coldest month is February.It’s -2 °C or -4 °C.

The wettest day of last year is on 27th December and the wettest month s are December also January.

The driest day of last year is on 27th July and the driest month is July.
