Swivl in the Classroom
wivl Confuse the power receptacle for the audio receptacle on the Swivl. Position your subject in front of a bright background such as windows. Place the Swivl in a location that could be easily bumped or knocked over.
Wear jewelry, scarves, etc. that might interfere with the audio transmission from the marker. Have sidebar conversations Move too fast. The Swivl can track the speaker but they need to move slowly. Record activity time during presentations
wivl Practice with the Swivl in advance of the presentation. Record a short practice segment at the presentation location. Play it back to ensure the audio is working. Position your device so that the audio jack is at the bottom of the device so the audio cable can reach between your device and the Swivl.
Always face the recording device Check the tilt of your device so that the subject is in the middle of the screen not the lower part of the screen. Make sure your volume is turned up all the way on your device when recording. Periodically check your video/audio before, during and after you record Make sure you align your recording device with the Swivl
